About me
I am Rafna Bash, CEO and Founder of Aktibeto, an online venture and community supporting women returning to tech careers after a break and women transitioning into the tech industry. With my expertise as a Tech Consultant, I also work with startup founders, small businesses, and organizations to help them understand their technical needs and develop a path forward.
As a mentor to women in tech, I am passionate about guiding them to develop their skills and excel in their careers. I also take pride in being a caring daughter, older sister, loving wife, and dedicated mother who successfully balances family and work life.
I am a resilient person who believes that women can accomplish anything they set their minds to, regardless of the phase of their life. Through my commitment to empowering women and helping them realize their full potential, I have become a source of influence to many.

In my high school years, I had my first encounter with computers, and it ignited a deep curiosity within me. This fascination led me to pursue a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering. Upon graduating, I embarked on my professional journey as a Software Engineer in the Telecommunication industry.
As a woman in the tech field, I encountered challenges familiar to many—delayed salary increases, overlooked promotions, and the feeling of not being truly heard or seen. Undeterred, I dedicated myself to my work and seized every opportunity to make my presence known. My determination paid off, propelling me into the role of an Engineering Manager. I had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed Fintech clients, leading diverse global teams.
Even as I pursued my career in the United States, I found that certain challenges persisted. I briefly worked as a freelance Software Developer before taking a break to reflect on my career path. During this hiatus, I had the privilege of meeting mothers eager to enter the tech industry. Witnessing their struggles resonated with me deeply, and I offered my expertise and network to assist them in their journeys.
It was from these experiences and the desire to make a meaningful impact that Aktibeto was born. My mission is to empower women to thrive in the tech world, providing them with the support and opportunities they need to succeed
